Even if the sun is not shining, we hope for several nice and sunny days and when they come, many people want to visit our beaches in Malmö.
Malmö has a large number of bathing spots to offer and everyone can find a bathing spot that suits them, sand, lawns, jumping towers, public toilets, etc. You can find all information about Malmö’s beaches here:
https://malmo.se/Uppleva-och-gora/Bada-och-simma/Strander-och-badplatser.html
Tip by clicking on the respective beach you will get the current bathing temperature.
Can I take the dog with me on the beach?
No dogs are allowed on Malmö’s beaches from March 15 to September 15. This applies to Malmö’s beaches, including the lawns in the beach area, on the jetties or in the water. This also applies to dogs on a leash. The exceptions are the dog resting places on the beaches.
For example, Ribersborgsstranden has Malmö’s largest dog resting area where there is also a dog swimming area. At our dog resting places, the dog is always allowed to be loose, but even here you must keep an eye on the dog.
On Ribersborgstranden you will also find Kul i Malmö, a summer holiday program that runs until August 11. You will find Fun in Malmö Ribban down by the T-bridge on Ribersborgsstranden. Here you will be able to try out a lot of fun activities, borrow leisure items from the Leisure Bank, for more information see: https://kulimalmo.se/sommarlov/

We wish you a nice week.
