Our first recommendation this week is Forbidden Culture Week.
Forbidden Culture Week is a biennial event highlighting restrictions on artistic freedom and culture that has been banned, censored or silenced in various ways.
This year’s event takes place from 12–18 October at 18 venues across Malmö, including Malmö City Library, Malmö Museum, Malmö City Archives, Kulturhyllan, the Dawit Isaak Library, Malmö Art Museum in Kungsparken, Rosengård Library and Spegeln Cinema.
The musical Oh, What a Night is showing at Slagthuset from 16–18 October, featuring David Lindgren, Robert Rydberg and others. Tickets are required.
On Saturday, FC Rosengård take on Vittsjö in the OBOS Damallsvenskan, Sweden’s top women’s football league, at Malmö IP. Kick-off is at 3:00 pm.
