Fishing Prohibition for the Operational Area of Dockan Marina

The operational area of Dockan Marina consists of the following areas:

Blue area: Within the blue-marked area, the property designation is Kranen 5. The property is owned by Dockan Exploatering AB (hereinafter referred to as Dockan), which also operates the marina business within this area.

Red area: Within the red-marked area, the property designation is Hamnen 21:138. The property is owned by Malmö Stad. Dockan Exploatering AB has, through Malmö Stad, an easement agreement for this area under which Dockan Exploatering AB is entitled to conduct marina operations. The easement agreement gives Dockan operational responsibility for the area and, with that, responsibility for introducing and enforcing the rules and regulations required for the marina operations.

Fiskeförbud / Fishing prohibition

General Fishing Prohibition

As Dockan Marina is responsible for operations and safety within both areas, Dockan Marina has imposed a fishing prohibition in both the blue and red-marked areas. The prohibition has been introduced due to the risks of personal injury, material damage to boats and equipment, and obstruction of harbour operations.

The fishing prohibition applies generally and includes fishing from boats, quays, piers, pontoons, and breakwaters.

The Harbour Entrance in Particular

The harbour entrance, where fishing is prohibited, is defined by the easement area (red-marked area). The navigation channel consists of a 90-degree turn and is marked by four green and three red buoys. The channel is at its narrowest approximately 15 metres wide. The seabed conditions outside the channel consist mainly of a steep stone slope.
