During the winter months, you can skate indoors in the ice rinks that are open to the public. Kirseberg and Limhamn are open to the public during certain times. It is free to ride. Keep in mind that the ice rinks do not have skates for rental or lending. You can borrow skates from Fritidsbanken.

Kockums Fritid also offers ice skating for the public. The ice rink is open until April for public ice skating during the following times:
Wednesdays 17:10-21:00 – Public hockey evening with puck and stick.
Saturdays & Sundays 11:10-14:30 – Public ice skating, recommended for families with children.

You can see the rehearsal as a recharge of the Handball European Championship 2026. Malmö is one of the host cities, the Handball European Championship is shared between Sweden, Norway and Denmark. 2025 is a year with many anniversaries to celebrate in Malmö. First up is the Malmö Symphony Orchestra, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary. They are starting Malmö’s anniversary year with their Jubileumsgala – MSO 100 years on January 16-18 at Malmö Live https://malmolive.se/program/jubileumsgala-mso-100-ar
In 2025 we will also celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Art Hall, the 25th anniversary of the Öresund Bridge, the 250th anniversary of the Port and the 40th anniversary of the Malmö Festival and many more. We promise to keep you updated.
Starting January 16, Funnys Äventyr will be open every Thursday evening until 6:00 PM. Of course, they want to celebrate this with a magical opening on January 16. In connection with this, Fannys Äventyr would like to invite you all to the Opening of the Evening Open House at Fannys äventyr, registration is linked further down in the email.
The opening is held in collaboration with the Bonnier Family Foundation and the evening offers:
