More art for the people, 98% of Malmö Art Museum’s collection is stored in storage and is not on display to the public.
The art collection is completely unique and owned by the city. Now the art collection is moving into the city – so that everyone can enjoy it.

Today you will find Malmö Art Museum inside Malmö Museum, but work is underway to realize a new art museum in Malmö. The proposal is that the former casino building in Kungsparken will be the place where the city’s art collection will move into. In 2025, a lot of exciting things will happen in the building in Kungsparken. Malmö Konsthall celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025 and on 22/3 it is time for their exhibition Malmö Konsthall 50 years. Tutankhamun -The Immersive Exhibition takes you on a journey into the legendary ancient Egypt and its secrets through new, digital multimedia art with Egyptian motifs.
