Midsummer week is here, and Malmö offers Midsummer celebrations at several locations throughout the city.
Children’s Midsummer at Folkets Park
10:45 AM–3:00 PM
A celebration for the whole family featuring dancing around the maypole, folk musicians, and traditional folk dancing. Feel free to bring a picnic. Free admission.

Midsummer Celebration at Bulltofta Recreation Area
11:00 AM–2:00 PM
Enjoy music, traditional games, and dancing around the maypole. Take a ride through the park in a horse-drawn carriage. Bring your own picnic or purchase drinks, coffee, pastries, or ice cream at the café.
Midsummer at Soldattorpet, Limhamn
12:00 PM–3:00 PM (gates open at 11:00 AM)
Dancing around the maypole takes place from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Firefighters from Rescue Service South’s Hyllie Station will be present with fire engines and will allow children to climb aboard. There will also be face painting and a plant lottery.
Coffee, refreshments, and ice cream will be available for purchase. Feel free to bring a picnic.
Admission: SEK 60. Children under 15 enter free of charge. Card and Swish payments only.
Soldattorpet Midsummer Celebration
Midsummer in the Spirit of Friendship at Botildenborg
11:00 AM–1:00 PM
Make flower wreaths, enjoy a picnic in the garden, and have some strawberry cake while supplies last. Free for everyone.
Limhamn Market and Midsummer Celebration at Sibbarps Camping
Friday–Saturday 11:00 AM–11:00 PM, Sunday 11:00 AM–8:00 PM
On Midsummer Eve, there will be dancing around the maypole at 3:00 PM, including a candy shower for children. From 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, enjoy social dancing with Robinzz.
The area also features market stalls and a funfair.
Midsummer at Riseberga
Celebrations begin at 2:00 PM, with maypole decorating starting at 11:00 AM for those who would like to participate.
Enjoy dancing around the maypole, games for children, and a candy bag for every child. Feel free to bring a picnic. The café will be selling ice cream and cold drinks.
Summer Holiday Activities at Spelens Hus
Starting today, 15 June, Spelens Hus opens its Summer Holiday programme, running until 7 August, from 10:00 AM–3:00 PM (closed on Midsummer Eve).
Come and play board games, video games, Lorcana, try Mario Kart on racing simulators, build with Gravitrax and Brio World, and experience VR. Everything is completely free and open to all ages.

Matches will be shown on a giant screen at Lördagsplan, the large open area opposite Malmö City Library.
Malmö Möts
We would also like to remind you of the extensive programme offered by Malmö Möts. All activities are free of charge and take place throughout the city’s parks, shopping centres, universities, libraries, and community meeting places.
