The swimming ban has been lifted, and it is once again permitted to swim at our beaches. This week’s major event is the Malmö Garden Show. Over three days, 29–31 May 2026, Mölleplatsen will be filled with a garden market, exhibition gardens, inspirational balconies, lectures, sustainable ideas, local growing initiatives, food, and drinks. Opening hours: Friday 29 May, 10:00–18:00 (the food area remains open until 20:00), Saturday 30 May, 10:00–18:00, and Sunday 31 May, 10:00–16:00.

Sjöstadens Sjödag – 30 May
A flea market and activities for all ages along the waterfront in Limhamns Sjöstad. Freshly fried herring, freshly smoked garfish, and much more will be available for purchase.

Block Party at Kronprinsen – Saturday 30 May
A free full-day festival for the whole family. Throughout the day, the area will be filled with music, activities, and great Latin vibes.
On stage you can see artists including Advance Patrol and Arwin, along with several other performers bringing energy and atmosphere all day long. Children can enjoy a circus rave, while the rest of the family can look forward to delicious food, great music, and plenty of experiences to enjoy.

Eid Festival in Folkets Park – Saturday 30 May, 13:30–19:30

Slottstaden Flea Market
The flea market will now take place along Köpenhamnsvägen. It starts at the intersection of Major Nilssonsgatan and Köpenhamnsvägen and ends at Köpenhamnsvägen 13.

We would also like to recommend a visit to the steam icebreaker S/S Bore. Between May and September, Bore is open to visitors. You can go on board, explore the deck, and speak with the ship’s guides, who can show pictures and tell you more about Bore’s history.
