3 Sep, 2024

A lot is happening in Malmö this week:

Southern Sweden Circus Festival. The circus festival is a collaboration between the city of Malmö and the municipality of Lund, which have jointly taken the initiative for an international circus festival. The festival takes place September 6–15 in Malmö and Lund, with events in a further ten municipalities in Scania. Anyone who wants to be given the opportunity to experience classic circus art, new circus and contemporary circus up close.
One of the highlights in Malmö will be another big parade from Triangeltorget to Mölleplatsen on 13/9. At Mölleplatsen, one of the world’s oldest touring circus companies, Cirkus Brazil Jack, together with the Southern Sweden Circus Festival brings an international concept to Sweden – Village Chapiteaux. Cirkus Brazil Jack is at the center when stars from different circus disciplines show arts at the very highest level.
In the Village Chapiteaux, everyone can experience circus magic up close. The younger ones can step into the arena and try circus arts, and in the evening Village Chapiteaux offers a raw circus concert, humor and mind-blowing arts.
