Christmas is just around the corner and the days of 2024 are drawing to a close.
Christmas speech at Stortorget
On Christmas Eve, December 24, the City Council Chairwoman and Mayor Carina Nilsson will give a Christmas speech and there will be atmospheric Christmas music.
11.50 – Classic Christmas songs will be played from the bell tower Kampanilen on Kompanigatan.
12:00 – Music and Christmas speech from the Town Hall balcony.
Santa will visit Stortorget and the Spårvägens Musikkår will brighten up the day with dance and musical entertainment.

For a few years now, no major New Year’s celebrations with fireworks have been organized in the city. But there are other places that offer New Year’s celebrations.
