Here are this week’s event tips. We would like to remind you that our tips are only a few examples of everything happening in our city.

For the past few weeks we have also had a better-functioning events calendar at malmo.se/evenemang, so feel free to take a look there as well for more ideas about what’s going on.

“Is Husets Kör Giving Up?” is a choral music theatre production performed by the Malmö choir Husets Kör. It will be staged at MAF on selected dates in March and April, starting Wednesday, March 18 at 19:00. The performance portrays the internal “process” within the choir as members brainstorm new themes, direction, scenography, and music — and even what the show should be called. The opinions are as many as the members, ideas are debated and argued, and lobbying takes place. How will it turn out this time? Is Husets Kör giving up?

How is the queer history of Kungsparken reflected in the Malmö Art Museum’s collection? This is explored in the exhibition “Re-thinking Collections” at Malmö Art Museum in Kungsparken. The exhibition also includes works inspired by one of the few African artists represented in the museum’s print collection.
The exhibition runs from March 20 to April 28. Opening hours: 10:00–17:00 daily during the exhibition period.

On Saturday, March 21, The Copenhagen Trilogy premieres at Malmö City Theatre, Intiman. The production is a modern classic by Tove Ditlevsen and is based on the novels Childhood, Youth, and Dependency. She uses her own life story to tell about the escape from a complicated everyday reality into writing. The performance runs until May 16.
