The lovely summer weather continues, and so do some of the season’s events into August and September. We wish you a sunny and delightful rest of the week!

Reminder: Slottsträdgården hosts sing-alongs and quizzes

Melody Crossword in Beijers Park – Tuesday, August 19, 7–8 PM Spårvägens Musikkår Malmö offers beautiful music under the lush trees. Come, listen, and solve the melody crossword! Feel free to bring a picnic.

Stand-up at Slagthuset Restaurant – Wednesday, August 20 Free entry! Hosted by Erik Börén.

  • Age limit: 18+ (younger guests allowed with a guardian)
  • Doors open: 4:00 PM | Show starts: 7:00 PM

Historical Walk in Folkets Park – Saturday, August 23 at 3:00 PM Join Jeanette Rosengren for a historical walk through Malmö’s Folkets Park. For 135 years, people have gone on strike, danced, and enjoyed herring feasts in its leafy groves.

  • Tours continue every Saturday until September 20
  • Limited spots – booking required
  • Free event, approx. 90 minutes
  • Starts at the old entrance on Norra Parkgatan near Barkgatan

Crayfish Party on Liveflotten – August 23 Join a traditional crayfish party aboard Liveflotten with live music and sing-alongs.

  • Bring your own crayfish and accessories
  • Hats, schnapps glasses, and decorations provided
  • Start times: 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM
  • Pre-booking required

Picnic Nights at Skeppsbrokajen On select evenings, Skeppsbrokajen near Posthusplatsen transforms into a vibrant outdoor stage with live music, comedy, choir quizzes, and cozy waterfront vibes.

  • Bring your own picnic or try authentic South American street food from El Asador food truck
  • Events start at 6:00 PM and last about an hour (quizzes a bit longer)
  • Free entry – first come, first served (approx. 200 seats)
  • Sit on the steps along the quay – bring a seat pad for comfort
  • May be canceled in case of heavy rain
  • Location: Below Posthusplatsen, near Malmö Central Station (Malmö C or Anna Lindhs plats)

Thursday, August 21: Musical Quiz with Linda Florén A crowd favorite where the audience gets to sing along and compete in tricky questions.

Sunday, August 24: Kiitos performs One of Malmö’s most talked-about new bands – a soulful and playful tribute to Swedish country music in a fresh style.
