The first week of November offers the following tips:

Join the Quiz Night at Stormgatan 15 on Wednesday, November 5. The quiz starts at 6:00 PM, but the doors open at 4:00 PM.

On Thursday, November 6, MFF men’s team meets Panathinaikos FC at Nya Malmö Stadion at 6:45 PM.

On Sunday, November 9, there is an Allsvenskan match at 3:00 PM, with MFF facing GAIS at Eleda Stadion.

Malmö Möts is the city’s major initiative on democracy. The main event will take place in June 2026, but the program kicks off early with a democracy weekend from November 7–9.
Events take place at the City Library, Rosengård Library, and Kulturhyllan. The weekend starts at the City Library on Friday, November 7, with an open inauguration at the Calendar of Light, which will be transformed into a democracy square filled with music, humor, and satire.

The weekend features guided tours, exhibitions, discussions, lectures, workshops, films, and storytelling. See the attached PDF for the full program and schedule.

On Saturday, November 8, it’s Book Day at Malmö Live at 1:00 PM.
Books by all participating authors will be available for sale and signing. A large book fair with numerous publishers will also take place throughout the afternoon. Please note: all purchases are cashless. Organizers: Sydsvenskan and ABF Malmö.
Ticket price: 254 SEK. A ticket is required.

Also on Saturday, November 8, a new exhibition of works by Edi Hila opens at Moderna Museet.
Edi Hila is considered one of Albania’s most significant artists. As a painter, he has captured his homeland’s dramatic social transformations and evocatively reflected the changing states of our shared global world. The exhibition is on Level 2 and runs until April 26, 2026.

On Saturday and Sunday, November 8–9, a flea market at Caroli will be held from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, focusing on Christmas items and decorations.
Entrance: 20 SEK. Free entry from 1:00–3:00 PM.

The same weekend, November 8–9, Inimini organizes a children’s clothing flea market on 1,000 square meters near Jägersro (Agnesfridsvägen 177). Find bargains among over 600 kilos of clothing, outerwear, shoes, and accessories for children from well-known brands in sizes 44–140. All items have undergone first sorting but may have minor defects or tiny holes.
Prices: Clothing 15 SEK each, shoes and outerwear 30 SEK each (winter clothing 50 SEK each).
Hours: Saturday 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM–1:00 PM. Registration required.
