This week we continue, little by little, with the theme of markets and flea markets and share several tips below.
Most of this week’s highlights take place during the weekend, but as we know, Malmö offers plenty of activities and events during the weekdays as well.
Canal Cruise with Music Quiz
On Friday, October 3, from 19:30–21:00, you can join a canal cruise with a music quiz.
During this 90-minute boat tour, participants will enjoy Malmö’s beautiful canals while quizmasters Hanna and Linda entertain with tricky questions, music, and fun.
Bring your own food and drinks—the boat provides music and atmosphere. You can also order food from Slottsträdgårdens Kafé, where the tour departs.

On Saturday from 9:00–13:00, Farmers’ Market returns to Drottningtorget. As always, the focus is on local, homegrown, and small-scale produce.

Among Makers Market at Stpln
On Saturday and Sunday, October 4–5, Stpln hosts the Among Makers market.
Welcome to a unique event where Scandinavian creators gather under one roof to showcase their handmade, sustainable, and heartfelt creations. From ceramics, illustrations, and jewelry to textiles, wood, scents, and design—directly from the makers themselves. Perfect for discovering new favorites, finding meaningful gifts, or simply enjoying a day of creativity.

Astronomy Day and Night
On Saturday, October 4, from 11:15–16:45, Astronomy Day and Night will be celebrated at the Museum of Technology and Maritime History (Malmö Museum).
The program includes theater performances, film screenings, and creative workshops. Astronomy Day and Night is a national space festival with events across the country, coordinated annually by the Swedish Astronomical Society.

Women’s Football at Eleda Stadion
For football fans: Malmö FF will play BK Häcken in Damallsvenskan on Wednesday, October 1 at 18:30.
On Saturday, FC Rosengård faces Malmö FF at 13:00. Both matches are at Eleda Stadion.

Roller Disco at Folkets Park
On Saturday, October 4, from 15:00–17:00, enjoy Roller Disco Light at Folkets Park.
All ages are welcome. Kids and adults skate together at a relaxed pace with lower-volume music.
Children under 15 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Professional skaters from Roller Skate Sweden will be on site with tips and tricks.
Free rental of roller skates, helmets, and wrist guards for 1 hour (sizes 31–46 available). Bring your own roller skates or inlines if you like—but scooters are not allowed. Free admission.

Guided Tours at Malmö Live
On the weekend of October 4–5, there’s an opportunity to get to know Malmö Live better with a guided tour.
Since opening in 2015, Malmö Live has become one of the city’s main meeting places for music, culture, and entertainment. Under one roof, you’ll find Malmö Live Concert Hall with the Malmö Symphony Orchestra, spacious stages and venues, as well as the Clarion Hotel & Congress with conference halls, restaurants, and a sky bar.
The guided tour takes visitors both behind the scenes and into the spotlight. Ticket required.

Art Tours at Moderna Museet Malmö
Every Saturday at 14:00, one or two selected exhibitions are presented by the museum’s art educators. Tours are in Swedish unless otherwise stated.
Tours in English are available on selected Sundays at 15:00 on the following dates:

Inventor for a Day at Malmö Museum
On Sunday, October 5, from 13:00–16:00, the popular “Be an Inventor for a Day” activity returns at Malmö Museum.
Recommended ages: 6–19 years, based on activity difficulty level.
Participation is free for all up to 19 years old. Accompanying adults pay the regular museum entrance fee.

On Sunday, October 5, from 11:00–15:00, Caroli hosts a luxury flea market.
Here you’ll find exclusive items such as clothing, children’s products, accessories, and small interior details.
Only high-quality products and well-known designers are allowed, making it a luxury event for both sellers and buyers.
Admission: 30 SEK (free entry between 13:30–14:30).

Clothing Swap at Malmö City Library
On Sunday, October 5, from 10:00–14:00, Malmö City Library hosts a clothing swap.
Bring 5 items of your own and go home with 5 new ones.
Exchanging clothes instead of buying new reduces both waste and climate impact.
Hand in whole and clean clothes you no longer use—and find something new to take home.
