The Walnut Festival in Torup, Saturday and Sunday, October 11–12.
Welcome to two days filled with walnut joy, flavors, creativity, and experiences for both children and adults in Torup!
How to get to Torup without a car? There are great bike paths for those who want to cycle. If you prefer public transport, bus 148 departs from Södervärn and Värnhem.

If you visit the Walnut Festival, you also have the opportunity to join guided tours at Torup Castle, including a Library Tour. On other weekends, there are additional tours such as the Historical Tour of the State Rooms and From the Castle Kitchen to the Baroness’s Table.

Farmers’ Market will hold another autumn market at Drottningtorget this Saturday, October 11, 9 AM–1 PM. As always, the focus is on local, seasonal, and sustainably produced goods.

On Sunday, October 12, the Malmö Marathon takes place, with start and finish at Ribersborg. Please note that the event will affect traffic, and some streets will be closed.

New exhibition at Malmö Museum – Power and Splendour at Malmöhus.
Opening on October 11, 2025, this exhibition takes visitors back to Malmöhus Castle’s heyday during the Renaissance, when both grand festivities and dramatic events shaped the castle’s history.
Malmö Museum opening hours: Tuesday–Sunday 11 AM–5 PM, Thursdays 11 AM–7 PM.
