Today, April 7, the Malmö International Food Festival begins at Gustav Adolfs Torg. It runs until Sunday, April 12, before moving on to Lund. For more than 18 years, Geraud Markets has organized the International Food Festival. The market offers authentic food, delicacies, and culinary culture from all corners of the world to Sweden.

Malmö Folk Festival opens its doors tomorrow, April 8.
The city will be filled with folk and world music from Malmö, Sweden, and beyond. Five days of concerts, dance floors, courses and jam sessions, workshops, family concerts, and film screenings.

For film enthusiasts, the Malmö Arab Film Festival begins on Friday, April 10. This year’s festival—the 16th edition—features more than 40 films.

On Saturday, April 11, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Våryra takes place in Malmö City. Meet the police and fire brigade—take a look inside their vehicles and ask questions.
In Våryra’s Sports Zone, you can meet Malmö FF, FC Rosengård Women, FC Rosengård 1917, Malmö Redhawks, HK Malmö, MAI, and FIFH. Meet athletes, try different sports, greet your idols, and discover new talents. The Sports Zone is packed with activities for sports-loving children and young people.

On April 11, it’s also time for another festival: Cider by the Sea—Malmö’s first cider festival!
At Cider by the Sea, you purchase a tasting glass to use with the various producers present at the venue. The glass costs SEK 60 and you get to take it home afterwards. Each tasting (10 cl) costs SEK 30 and is paid for using tokens purchased at the bar.
Free entry all day—only the glass and drinks cost extra.
