September kicks off with plenty of events and exhibitions, some of which will run over a longer period.
This week’s tips offer a delightful mix of music, festivals, stand-up comedy, exhibitions, singing, markets, guided tours – and last but not least Malmö’s very own dachshund parade.

Malmö in the making is a city initiative designed to spark Malmö residents’ curiosity, engagement, and participation in urban development. The program runs from September 4 until the end of the month, taking place every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday in different locations across Malmö – giving more people the chance to explore the city’s development.
Try being an architect for a day, learn how to weave with pine needles from Kungsparken’s trees, or join a guided bike tour.

RAW Comedy Club Malmö opens Friday, September 5 at Radisson Blu Hotel.
The event continues throughout autumn with different comedians. Age limit: 18+. Ticket required.

Malmö Dekorativa – Antique Fair returns to Katrinetorp Landeri September 5–7.
Here you can find everything from classics to curiosities. The days also include seminars and guided tours.

On Sep 6–7, a vintage bus will run free of charge between the Technical Museum and Katrinetorp via Gustav Adolfs Torg.

Malmö Tillsammans – Charity Gala takes place Saturday, September 6 at Eleda Stadium.
The day begins with a lunch featuring panel discussions, lectures, and engaging activities, followed by Malmö’s biggest free concert ever. Speakers and panelists include Ali Eftekhari, Carolina Klüft, Anna Nordström, Katrin Stjernfeldt Jammeh, Karin Mårtensson, and Steve Angello. The concert features Steve Angello, Ayla, Cleo, Linda Pira, among others.

Choir Singing Day is celebrated Saturday, September 6 at 14:00 on Sankt Johannesplan.
From Umeå in the north down to Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö, everyone is welcome to join in singing together from the shared choir repertoire.

Open Möllan 2025 takes place Saturday, September 6, 10–16.
A day of open courtyards – an initiative by Alla åt alla Malmö in collaboration with ABF. Explore beautiful courtyards and enjoy various activities. Maps and programs available on-site. Last year, 98 courtyards opened and thousands of visitors attended.

Harvest Market at Katrinetorp Landeri on Sunday, September 7, 11–17.
The courtyard will be filled with locally grown and produced goods: vegetables, cheese, fruit, honey, juice – plus a flea market.
Children can enjoy activities with Katrinetorp’s Friends, explore machines, play on hay bales, and ride ponies.

Guided tour at Malmö Live Concert Hall on Sunday, September 7, 10–11.
Since its opening in 2015, Malmö Live has become one of the city’s foremost venues for music, culture, and entertainment. Under one roof, it houses Malmö Symphony Orchestra, spacious stages, Clarion Hotel & Congress, restaurants, and a skybar. The guided tour takes you behind the scenes and into the concert hall. Dachshund Parade takes place Sunday, September 7 at 14:00.
The parade runs along the pedestrian street and ends at Stortorget. Expect dressed-up dogs and music along the route.
