Autumn Break is Here – A Week Full of Fun Activities for Children, Youths, and Halloween Celebrations
The autumn break has arrived, bringing a week filled with family-friendly activities and Halloween fun.
Here are some of this week’s highlights focusing on Halloween and autumn break events.
Folkets Park – “The Week of Fright”
Folkets Park transforms into a magical place filled with frightfully fun experiences as The Week of Fright begins today, Monday, October 27.
Families can enjoy a full schedule of magic, music, and crafts. The program is suitable for all ages but is especially designed for children aged 4–12.
All activities are “just scary enough,” and mostly just great fun. Free admission to all events.

️ Autumn Break at Malmö Museum
Create your own ghost charms and autumn decorations. For the brave, there’s also a (mildly) spooky guided tour in the museum’s eerie tower cell. The tour lasts about 40 minutes and accommodates up to 30 participants.
Tickets are available at the entrance on the day of the tour—first come, first served.
Recommended minimum age: 6 years. Regular admission applies for adults.

Autumn Break Workshop at Moderna Museet
Create art with artist Anna Brag! The workshop is part of Bästa Festivalen – Sweden’s largest art festival where children and young people get to work directly with artists and educators.
For ages 6 and up, accompanied by an adult.
️ October 30 – November 2, drop-in between 11:00–15:00.
The artist is present on October 30 and November 2.

Autumn Break – Workshop with Bästa Biennalen at Malmö Konsthall
In collaboration with Bästa Festivalen, the main event of Bästa Biennalen, this workshop invites children and families to join creative sessions, exhibitions, performances, and artistic challenges.

Make Your Own Glass Candy – Malmö School of Culture
Under the guidance of artist Lott Alfreds, participants create shimmering glass “candies” – small works of art.

Autumn Break in Torup Forest
Torup Forest hosts a variety of outdoor activities during the week: crafts using natural materials, stick bread by the fire, storytelling, five-a-side games, and torchlight walks.
Follow the folklore-inspired quiz trail through the forest for a magical autumn experience.
