Unfortunately, the completion of the breakwater has been delayed. Almost all the stone has been put in place, the pontoon has been assembled and work is now underway to draw electricity and water. On Sunday, Svensk Sjöentreprenad’s ship Neptunus will again visit Dockan to make a hole in the harbor entrance, lay some stones to correct it and drive two stern mooring piles. Unfortunately it will sound a bit on Sunday but hopefully that will be the last time there will be noisy work on the breakwater.
Tomorrow, Friday, the steel piles that hold the floating bridge in place will be concreted.
If all goes well, the entire facility will be ready for use sometime by the end of next week.
